Does it handle cursive and messy handwriting?
Yes. The recognition is trained on handwriting, including cursive and mixed styles. Accuracy is highest with reasonably legible writing, good lighting and a flat page, but it copes well with the everyday kind.

Handwriting in 21 languages. The full, current list is shown inside the App, and you can switch languages between scans.
Do my images leave my phone?
Images are used only to recognise the text in them. Where recognition needs an online service, the image is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and not kept. The App has no account, no ads and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can I edit the result?
Yes. Correct any word in place, then copy the text to the clipboard or share it to another app.
Is it free?
You can start scanning right away without signing up. If optional paid features are offered, they are described in the App before you buy, and purchases go through the App Store or Google Play.
